The group employs more than 50,000 people, operates 12 plants, five global R&D centers in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Gothenburg, Coventry and Frankfurt. The Group also boasts five global design studios in Shanghai, Gothenburg, Barcelona, California and Coventry respectively with over 1000 members of staff in total. Geely Automobile Holdings, a subsidiary company owning the Geely Auto, Geometry, and 50% of Lynk & Co brands has been listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange since 2005.
In 2020, the brands under Geely Auto Group management sold over 1.43 million units, with Geely Auto retaining its position as the best-selling Chinese brand for four consecutive years, Lynk & Co setting a new sales record for six consecutive months, and a revitalized PROTON growing 8.8% in spite of a global pandemic.

Geely Auto Group is committed to the world-class auto research and development industry. It has established the Geely Automotive Research Industry in Hangzhou, the renowned China Euro Vehicle Technology (CEVT) in Gothenburg, and the world-leading Geely Research Institute in Hangzhou.
Manufacturing Facilities
All over China and in places such as Taizhou, Xiangtan, Chengdu, Baoji, and Jinzhong, Geely Auto Group has vehicles and was able to powertrain the manufacturing facilities there. The company currently produces a full range of models including sedans, SUVs, crossovers, and MPVs.
